Carbon Steel Pipes

Technical Specifications (Spirally Welded)

  • Material & Standards: Carbon Steel grades in accordance with   API 5L (Gr B, X42, X52, X60, X65, X70), EN 10219, ISO 3183.
  • Manufacturing Method: Spiral submerged arc welded (SSAW)   process with double-sided submerged arc welding for full penetration. 
  • Nominal Diameters: DN 200 – DN 3000 mm (8" –   120"), tolerances per applicable standards.
  • Wall Thickness Range: 5 mm – 25 mm (customizable as per design   pressure and loading conditions).
  • Pressure Ratings: Designed to meet specified working   pressure per API/EN/ISO calculation methods.
  • Steel Grades: API 5L Gr B/X42/X52/X60/X65/X70, or   equivalent per project requirements.
  • Coating Options: External: 3LPE, 3LPP, FBE, coal tar   enamel, or epoxy. Internal: FBE, epoxy lining, or cement mortar lining. 
  • Joint Types: Field welding (butt joint) or flanged   ends, depending on application.
  • Applications: Oil & gas transmission, water supply,   piling, structural supports, and industrial pipelines.
  • Advantages: Large diameter capability, cost-effective   for long runs, good strength and toughness, adaptable to various coatings.

Technical Specifications (ERW)

  • Material: Ductile Cast Iron – Grade 500-7 (ISO 1083). Standards: EN 545, ISO 2531, EN598 
  • Coating & Lining Standards: ISO 4179, ISO 8179.
  • Nominal Diameters: DN 80 – DN 2600 mm (3" – 104"), tolerances as per EN 545 / ISO 2531.
  • Wall Thickness: Class C, K9
  • Mechanical Properties: Tensile Strength ≥ 420 MPa, Yield Strength ≥ 300 MPa, Elongation ≥ 10%.
  • Internal Lining: High-density cement mortar lining (ISO 4179). Optional: epoxy, polyurethane, or other special coatings.
  • External Coating: Zinc ≥ 200 g/m² + bituminous or epoxy finish (ISO 8179). Optional: polyurethane for highly corrosive environments.
  • Joint Types: Push-on (Tyton®), Mechanical, Flanged, Restrained joints.
  • Applications: Potable water, raw water, wastewater, irrigation, industrial, fire-fighting.
  • Advantages: High strength, long service life (>100 years), corrosion resistance, easy installation, suitable for buried and above-ground.
