Technical Specifications
- Material and Standards: Ductile Cast Iron – Grade 500-7 (ISO 1083). EN 545, ISO 2531, EN598
- Manufacturing Method: Produced using the centrifugal casting method, which ensures a uniform wall thickness and high mechanical strength throughout the pipe
- Coating & Lining Standards: ISO 4179, ISO 8179.
- Nominal Diameters: DN 80 – DN 2600 mm (3" – 104"), tolerances as per EN 545 / ISO 2531.
- Wall Thickness: Class C, K9
- Mechanical Properties: Tensile Strength ≥ 420 MPa, Yield Strength ≥ 300 MPa, Elongation ≥ 10%.
- Internal Lining: High-density cement mortar lining (ISO 4179). Optional: epoxy, polyurethane, or other special coatings.
- External Coating: Zinc ≥ 200 g/m² + bituminous or epoxy finish (ISO 8179). Optional: polyurethane for highly corrosive environments.
- Joint Types: Push-on (Tyton®), Mechanical, Flanged, Restrained joints.
- Applications: Potable water, raw water, wastewater, irrigation, industrial, fire-fighting.
- Advantages: High strength, long service life (>100 years), corrosion resistance, easy installation, suitable for buried and above-ground.
